GETTING STARTED

As a new client of Soul Bay Strength Training,  the trainer taking the classes will walk you through each excercise and provide you with guidance on how to perform each movement correctly.

During these initial classes’ you will also:

  • Learn and master the correct technique for performing each compound movement.
  • Learn all safety measures to be considered while performing these movements, including how to supervise (‘spot’) others.
  • Receive your individual weight/set/rep starting point

At Soul Bay we strive to provide a training environment which is enjoyable and in no way intimidating. We understand that everyone learns at different rates and in different ways. It may take some people longer to learn how to perform excercises than others. We make sure all clients feel comfortable and confident before progressing in weight and the level of excercises performed.
